Manager, Advanced Practice Provider (APP – NP/PA) Psychiatry

The APP Manager provides leadership of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in alignment with the vision, mission, values and goals of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and develops and fosters relationships with multiple counterparts and key stakeholders including: physicians, nursing and administrative staff. The APP Manager cultivates an empowered and engaged work force committed to clinical excellence, quality care and service to patients and families.

You Will:

  • Maintain an independent practice; supervise a team who provides urgent, and routine psychiatric assessments and conduct on-going medication management to a defined panel of oncology patients.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement a plan of care to address the physical and psychosocial needs of your patients.

  • Engage in performance improvement activities to support the mental health needs of our patient population.

YOU HAVE:

  • Active New York State RN and Psychiatry / Mental Health NP license or active NYS Physician Assistant license

  • Master’s degree

  • 4+ years of related clinical experience

HOURS: FULL TIME DAYS, FLEXED ACCORDING TO OPERATIONAL NEEDS#LI-TA1
