Job Description

The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service (MITS) in the Department of Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) has openings for nuclear medicine attending physicians for 2019. We are looking for individuals with excellent clinical skills covering the entire spectrum of nuclear medicine as well as significant interest in research. Successful candidates should be board certified in nuclear medicine (ABNM), eligible for New York State license, and will have a full-time appointment in MITS. Additional certification in other specialties (e.g., Radiology or Internal Medicine) is desirable but not required. Participation in teaching activities for residents and fellows, as well as active participation in clinical research projects, is required. In view of our large clinical volume and high institutional demands, team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills are considered essential.

MSKCC is located in the heart of New York City. The Molecular Imaging and Therapy Service uses state of the art equipment, including a total of 12 PET/CT and one PET/MR. Our team of 23 faculty with primary or secondary appointment in MITS, supported by technologists, nurses, physicists, pharmacists and radiochemists, provides a comprehensive clinical service, conducts translational and clinical research, and provides institutional research support for a large number of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical trials.
